Come Have a Meal  –   CHM roots go back to providing those in need with food and encouragement.  We are starting CHM @ CHM to provide a regular hot meal at that our neighbors can count on being there if they are hungry for food or for fellowship. You can volunteer to help prepare serve and clean up or if you wish, you and your friends can commit to host one meal per week or month. We can always use a regular supply of nourishing food as well, so help in that area is welcome as well.

        This program is in the construction phase with planned start in the Spring of 2008 and has the following objectives:

• Meet a real need for nourishment in the neighborhood.

• Provide an oppotunity for meeting neighbors, understanding other needs they have and sharing real hope.
• Provide an opportinity for residents to experience the satisfaction of work well done if they do not have a job.
• Provide a manageble opportunity for volunteers to experience the joy of serving.
