Fishes and Loaves – Hunger is a very real issue in central Ohio. An enthusiastic team of volunteers from Community Park church and other area churches has formed and wants to help meet that need by collecting food and distributing it from CHM at 1910 Cleveland Ave. The team's goal is to distribute food packages twice per month to begin with. We need volunteers who can collect food from the Columbus and surrounding community. Community Park Church will warehouse the food and it will be packaged for distribution from there.  Standard food packages with staples will be provided to individuals and families in the neighborhood.  Members of this team elicit food, transport it, store it, package it, distribute it and record how it was distributed. This team also spends time with food recipients to understand other needs and provide support and direction.
